Connecting Hearts, Spreading Love Through Golf — 2026 Respon Cup Vancouver Chinese Amateur Golf Charity Team Tournament Concludes Successfully

Local time on May 19, 2026, the highly anticipated 2026 Respon Cup Vancouver Chinese Amateur Golf Charity Team Invitational Tournament successfully concluded in Canada. The event was exclusively title-sponsored by Respon International Group and Respon Wealth Management Corp., and jointly hosted by Botrich International, Botrich Golf Team, Hunan Chamber of Commerce Golf Team, Hualong Drama Troupe Golf Team, Central South University Western Canada Alumni Golf Team, and VCL Women’s Golf Team.

The full-day event consisted of two major sessions: a professional golf competition in the daytime and an award ceremony & charity gala in the evening. It gathered over one hundred Chinese golf enthusiasts, business elites, community leaders and political guests. Taking golf as a bridge, the event integrated competitive sports, community fellowship and public welfare undertakings, presenting a high-end, warm and influential grand gathering for the local Chinese community.

As a flagship public welfare event launched by Respon International Group in celebration of its 15 years of dedicated service to the Canadian Chinese community, the invitational tournament has always upheld its original public welfare mission. Open to all Chinese amateur golfers free of charge, the event not only enriches the spare-time cultural life of overseas Chinese residents, but also builds a high-quality platform for community communication, business interaction and public welfare empowerment through sports events.

The highlight of the tournament lies in the in-depth integration of sports and public welfare. During the core segment of the charity gala, an official donation ceremony was held, where Respon Financial generously donated CAD 15,000 on-site. All proceeds will be fully contributed to the Canadian Youth Foundation, specifically dedicated to supporting disadvantaged overseas youth groups, facilitating their healthy growth and talent development, and empowering public welfare initiatives for Chinese-Canadian youth.

Maintaining long-term in-depth cooperation with UNICEF, the Canada Youth Funding Association has been committed to youth development for years with continuous support from Respon International Group. It provides overseas teenagers with global growth platforms and public welfare practice opportunities, nurturing a large number of outstanding young talents. Angela Zhao, Vice President, and Evan Sun, Department Minister of the Canada Youth Funding Association, accepted the donation cheque on behalf of the foundation.

The gala featured a wonderful lineup of performances with non-stop highlights throughout the night. The stage presented diverse programs including dynamic K-pop dance openings, elegant solo Chinese dances, humorous cross-talk shows, and aesthetic fashion catwalks. Specially prepared by Respon International Group, the customized group dance won rounds of applause with its exquisite and elaborate presentation, fully demonstrating the organizer’s sincerity and dedication.

Meanwhile, major tournament awards were officially announced and presented on-site alongside generous prizes. All winners of the men’s and women’s overall gross champion, first runner-up and second runner-up, as well as recipients of the longest drive and closest-to-the-pin awards, each received a 5-pound bag of premium Canadian organic wild rice sponsored by the organizer.

The highly anticipated team awards were unveiled during the ceremony. The outstanding VCL Women’s Golf Team claimed the team championship and was awarded a cash prize of CAD 800. The Botrich Golf Team secured the first runner-up title with a cash prize of CAD 600, while the Central South University Western Canada Alumni Golf Team took third place and received CAD 400 in cash rewards. The organizer honored all individual and team winners, recognizing their passion and dedication to the sport.

In addition, multiple exciting lucky draw sessions were held throughout the evening. Special gratitude is extended to Botrich International, Xingchi Auto, and Royal Classical Agriculture Ltd. for sponsoring exquisite lucky draw gifts. A wealth of prizes including wild organic rice, high-end gourmet gifts and home appliances were presented to guests, bringing abundant joy and warmth to the entire audience amid the charitable and vibrant atmosphere of the event.
